Killed and Missing: Serbs killed and missing in war and after the war, in Croatia including Republic of Serb Krayina (UNPA) and Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1990 and 1999. This page contains links to listings with names of, Serbs from Croatia and Republic of Serb Krayina, killed and missing in war and after the war, in Croatia including Republic of Serb Krayina (UNPA) between 1990 and 1999, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina (in battles opposite HV and HVO in border area or air-bombing of refugees lines). Up to date (February 2004), VERITAS has verified 6.780 killed and missing persons from the territories of Republic Croatia and former Republic of Serb Krayina, who were mainly of Serbian nationality (some were of other nationalities but had either lived or fought on the Serbian side in Republic of Serb Krayina).
Most of them were killed or missing in 1991 (2.442) and during 1995 (2.394) – through regions: in Norther Dalmatia 1.632, Bania 1.216 and Lika 1.155. Between 1992 and 1995 during UN protection Republic of Serb Krayina (UNPA) the number killed or missing people was 4.277. Missing Now there are 2.805 missing persons in files of VERITAS. Most of them were missed in 1995 (1.810) and in 1991 (777) – through regions: in Bania 641, Lika 565 and Norther Dalmatia 495. Concidering passed time from the missing time till now, it is very small posibility to fig missing among living persons, so the mark "missing" gets meaning "killed". For practical reasons we put killed and missing persons on the same list. Unfortunately, this verified listing of killed or missing persons was not definitive.
